The best book I’ve read lately? The Assassination of Fred Hampton: How the FBI and the Chicago Police Murdered a Black Panther by Jeffrey Haas. I remember December 4, 1969 very clearly. Cliff and I were totally blown away to discover personal connections to two of the officers on the police team.
