I thought part 2 has more substantive content.
I agree… I just figured I would post one yesterday, and the other one today.
I think what bothered me about part one has to do with how it goes against James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another” Operative word being “Your” sins. Collect a group of people from anywhere in the US for a political rally and you will find at least one of those people with some level of racism in their heart. Now, because that’s true – Dyson then takes the liberty (against the above scripture) to get out the widest brush he can and starts painting with the broadest strokes to create a picture of racism and white fear that I don’t find credible. Especially since so many white people voted for Obama in the first place. Is Dyson saying those white people voted out of fear?
