War, Violence, and Christian Faith

A great internal debate throughout christian history has been on the subject matter of war and violence.  Is there such thing as a “Just War”, and should Christians participate in war or any acts of violence?

Let’s begin the dialogue, freestyle with me and briefly tell me what you think… (biblically that is).

    Being the simple guy that I am – I have a version of Galatians 5:22 and the Matthew 18 lesson in my head that simply says – “Be Galatians 5:22 right up the point where you are forced to exert deadly pressure in order to preserve that which is precious before God from that which is anathema.
